AEROSTRIP strip diffusers from AQUACONSULT Anlagenbau significantly contribute to the remediation of the uranium mining legacy by Wismut GmbH in East Germany. For the past ten years, the AEROSTRIP Q variant, made entirely of plastic and corrosion-free, has provided consistent and reliable aeration of the often heavily contaminated wastewater from industrial landfills at the former uranium ore processing plant in Seelingstädt.

Additional Information: The wastewater to be treated is particularly saline, further acidified, and subject to significant temperature fluctuations. In this challenging composition, the only efficient treatment method was the use of a completely metal-free and durable diffuser variant: the AEROSTRIP Q.
