The treatment plant Himmerfjärdsverket from Syvab (Sweden) will be responsible of treating wastewater for over 350,000 people in the future. The plant receives about 120,000 m3 of water every day. By MBR treatment process water gets purifyed and redirected in the baltic sea. In doing so, our AEROSTRIP® diffuser technology is an important part in revitalising the wastewater.
Since the beginning of 2024 the first line of the treatment plant is equipped with AEROSTRIP® diffusers is now ready for operation. In total, there will be eight lines which will be finalised until 2025. (Photos: Syvab)
